Question

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Question

Hello All...

I just finished the mission where you destroy the nomad homeworld. ok got through that ok. Now i am back on manhattan(sp?) and i am toldl to do jobs to lvl up. so i check the how much worth i need to get to the next lvl(19). it says $133,000. so i grab a few job, staying in New York for fun lol. After i finish a hand ful of missions, i check what the net worth again, but this time it says that i need $100,000, and my worth is at $80,000. thinking this is kinda odd that the required lvl went down that much, but i go and grab a few more job. WEll now my current net worth is around $95,000 and my required to lvl is now $90,000?!?!?!?!?

so i saved, closed the game then went back in. it still says i am lvl 18, and i have to do a mission to advance. Problem is, i never got the message for the mission.

What should i do??

Thanks

p.s. sorry if i started to ramble

1. get a job doesn't mean what it says after the last mission. You can do what you want. Trade, do missions, or explore. You level up anyway.
2. Leveling up changes after the campaign for mysterious reasons only know to the creator (probably to keep the forums going) It now says how much MORE you need instead of how much you need in total.
So if it says Next level: $50.000 you need $50.000 more to level up.

In your case you needed $133,000 to level up and after a few missions you needed only $100,000.

If after you reach level 18 it says your next level requirement is a mission, then that's a bug. Just make more money.

Is that a pocket of volatile gas?
No, that's a jumphole...

This ought to be a sticky, just because I've only been on this site for a few days and I've seen half a dozen threads on it.
The noobs will keep creating these things until they see one posted in the top.

The last word is mine. Always.

BZ, You expect them to read the stickies? whoohoo, you're in for a big surprise

Yeah, you should just do a search. Its amazing how many times they have started up threads about the same exact things.

As a newbie I've found the easiest way to level up is Sigma 13 & 19 wrecks. Tractor in all that lovely loot (level 10 weapons) and if you plan your route right you can go level 19 to level 28 in about 20-25 minutes. Check the wreck list though, it took me about 2 hours to go level 26, if I'd checked the wrecks list the 20-25 minutes would have been very realistic. On your way to Hokkaido pick up gate lane parts at Roppongi (opposite New Tokyo), dump them off at the gate lane construction site in Hokkaido, that will give you your first level (double money), then use the jump hole to the east of the Construction site to Sigma 13 and jump the next levels. Other people may give you better ways to rise but this is my newbie effort............................

If you throw enough mud ..some's gonna stick.
