IMO the ship is grown with really advanced tech, and they put a nomad symbiote in it to control it though some sort of nueronic synthesis

That way they have maximum advantage over thier opponent because they are directly controlling it with thier minds

When you scan a nomad ship it says something like "blablabla organic ship blablabla".

The Dom Kavash became trancendant! .....Ok, maby not. I doubt thay became extinct tho. How do you kill all members of a species that spans a galaxy?
