Yeah they more than likley did what the 'first ones' in Babylon 5 did, left the sector for a new race to take over (but left the Nomads to watch over it)

see now i was under the impression that the dom kavash were still in existence and the were only a short jaunt away in thier souped up jump hole dealy and the nomads were doing the upkeep (slaves) until they returned.

so is it the nomads that live in/on the dyson sphere? that doesnt seem right to me. assuming all nomads look like Tekagi's... i find it hard to picture them operating fighter ships too tho...

where does it say they are extinct? and for that matter - how would whoever said it (if it was said) know anyway??? lol
