Hi everybody !
I am a french single player. Sorry for my limited english.
I play with this game since many weeks, i have finished the campaign, i explore systems, like everybody. Of course i have found the monkeys, the robots, the 2 unknow systems, etc.
In reading all the messages in this forum, i had an idea about the order.

Do you know Isaac Asimoov, the writter of Foundation, Second Foundation, Foundation and Empire, The robots, etc... There are very good SciFi stories. In these stories, there is a protector of mankind (like the order say to be), and this protector is a robot called Daniels.
But nobody know it. This is a secret.

When i look at the Sirius sector, what can i see ? Just agressive humans in fight. Fight for business, for control, for money, etc... Mankind seem to be an expert in destruction. And, all humans in Sirius sector are just settlers from our solar system. Why are they in Sirius ? Because there was a war between humans for planet Earth (this is what the intro say). And the intro say too, "We will never forget" !

So my point is : Human is unable to protect himself from himself. The only protector must be an non-human. A robot, or a robot race (programmed for it) for example.

I have read in a message that when you have no allies and every faction is your enemy, planet Gammu (robots, and a look similar to Toledo Order planet) become unlocked.

So what is happening when everybody is your friend, when the indicator is maximum green for every faction ? Maybe Monkey planet become unlocked ? I will try it. I dont have any real idea about monkeys for now, except : monkey imitate human !

And another little thing ?
Why killing Xenos ? For be friend with a maximum factions of course. Maybe there is something important to know about them. It is just an idea, but i will try to be friend with Xenos.

So... What do you think ? Can Robots be The true Order ?

Atom_Kid,

You have good reasoning, good Sci-Fi background and good observation skills. I. personally, believe that you have put more thought into the storyline than the writers did.

I wish that they had your vision.

LOL ! Maybe you're right !

So, why create some strange worlds like robots or monkeys ?
This is a non-sense ! The "shooting" game run perfectly without these planets.

Why is the entire green sector of the right side of the map empty of "know" systems or "unknow" systems or "accessible" systems ?
Is it just for "fun (baaaaad joke)" or "mystery" without explanation ? Bluff ? Unfinished game ? (very bad unfinished).

In this case, big disappointment !
Hell is marketing !

So... A very little expansion ? in a poor right side of a map ? LOL ?
No ! It cant be serious !! Everything is possible for write an expansion !
Universe is pretty big ! no ? So, with hypergates (or without)... all scenarios are possibles. It's not necessary to preserve a part of the map. Maybe only for the Moders ?
Hmm... Who know ?

But...we talk, we talk, and writers are laughing !

You know what ?
Now i am really depressive.
I have a saber, heavy weapons, heavy shield, money, allies, and nothing happend.
I hear the rumors...blah blah blah, sometimes i found a wreck with nothing really interesting inside except for trade. So, trade for what ? I need nothing.
Every interesting place is closed, jump holes, jump gates, secret labs, top secret research, all closed. Mysteries seem to be inaccessible ghosts !
I have finished the story line in 7 hours. I thought it was just an immersion in the game, but in fact it is not.
I have played 80 hours, so, 73 hours after the storyline without find something really new, except monkeys and robots, so for what ?

I am very disappointed.
Freelancer could have been a great game with many possibilities and a really long time challenge and a very strong reputation (the principe of the game ? isnt it ?)
Productors are blind ! And i will never forget !

What are these unknow ID of factions in my savefile ??

fc_or_grp, seem to be the order ? Logical.
fc_n_grp, the nomads ? with -0.9 points reputation with Trent, i think they are.

fc_ln_grp, fc_kn_grp, fc_rn_grp ? Nomads ? strange reputation datas, friend with nomads if the nomads ID is fc_n_grp, but also knowed by some factions in sirius ????? For example, fc_kn_grp have 0.65 points of reputation with co_be_grp, who are Border World Export. And they have also -0.9 points of reputation with Trent.

fc_uk_grp, fc_ouk_grp, fc_q_grp and fc_f_grp, seems to have no contact with sirius factions, but they know the nomads ? For example, fc_n_grp (Nomads ID?) have -0.65 points of reputation with fc_ouk_grp.

HEEEELP !!! Somebody give me a Doctoooor !!! LOL
