Spock Asks You a New Rebalance Mod Puzzler!!

Well now everything has been going along pretty well, although there is now another problem I face lol. I need a new engine. Of course, the only problem is that I don't know which one to buy because on the engine stats it shows half of them as top speed- 0, so it's kinda hard to figure out which one is better.

I would of course normally assume the most expensive one is the best, however in the Rebalance Mod that is often not the case, so I would appreciate any help someone could give as to the bes engine to buy.

I just stuck to the one that came with the ship I bought, and bought the best upgrade I could get my hands on.

(Go to one of the pirate bases for the best stuff)

Well, ummmm... thanks, but that isn't much help. As I said, in my game at least, half the engines don't correctly display what their stats are, so I was hoping someone would know the fastest one available so I don't have to buy them all and take a guess : ~ /

Fastest I have seen is Engine Upgrade IV, with a theoretical top speed of 200.

Edit: I just checked my setup, and the top speed for level IV is 233.

There is also a Power Upgrade IV, and I find this more important than the engine.

But to get these upgrades, you'll have to contact Outcast or Corsair :-)

Power is more important, however that displays fine for me so I can easily find the best one.

Alright, been there, done that finally. Now I need another Rebalance tip, what is everyone's favorite ship once they are at the "end", and they can afford any. I'm not sure whether to buy Voyager or get something else... Voyager's stats are way messed up (in my game at least), so I can't tell what the hell is on that ship at all unless I bought it. lol

So, I ask you my friends, what is your ultimate ship, its stats and why, in the Rebalance Mod...

Well, my favorite is the Lonsword bomber. 365 cargo after mounting all upgrades. It comes with 4 tachyon guns and 4 sunslayers. But I replaced them all with Nomad torps. And that gives you all the power you need. And it handles quiet nice for a ship that heavy. If you know where to find it, great. If not, go look it up :-)
