And they told 2 friends, and so on, and so on, etc...

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

And they told 2 friends, and so on, and so on, etc...

hi,
how many waves of enemies and what ranking are they when attacking a specific location are there? do enemies ever stop responding (spawning) to that area? i can't recall how many waves i've dispatched before it just becomes overwhelming and i am forced into an early retreat (if i'm lucky ill arrive at the nearest friendly location with a "Titan - Lite Fighter" all the lack of manueverability you expect in a Titan with less wings/guns/launchers etc...) :
as the amount of nme's increases per wave (at least i think they grow with each) does their skill level also increase?

currently i am having it out with the GMG. (among others) they have those lovely C 9 Sunblast B's ($36k+)

who do you dance with most often and why? what benefits do you enjoy as a result? and at what cost?
how many waves can you survive?

F*ck, fight or dance - it's all the same to me...
may i have this dance?

The level/rank of enemies varies signifcantly only during missions; for example, in one mission you may get 3 x lvl 17 Sabre followed by 4 x lvl 16 Sabre followed by 8 x Stiletto, but another mission of the same difficulty level may have just a single wing of 6 x lvl 17 Sabre or a swarm of 12..16 mixel-lvl Stiletto.

The level/rank of enemies in the wild is determined by the area. If you drive from Honshu to Omicron Alpha you will get low-level Stilettos (or even Daggers) in Honshu and most of Sigma-19 but inside the nebula with the Omicron Beta jumphole they get a bit tastier (up to lvl 14). On the Sigma-19 side of Omicron Beta you get mostly lvl 14 Stiletto mixed with an occasional lvl 15 Sabre and the rest of Omicron Beta has mostly lvl 16/17 Sabres, as does the area around the Omicron Beta jumphole in Omicron Alpha (but you may get the occasional lvl 18 Sabre wing there). Inside Omicron Alpha it is lvl 18/19 Sabres.

The number of enemies in each wing varies within certain bounds; regular patrol wings tend to be between 4 and 8, dito for reception committees at jumpholes/jumpgates. If you are extremely lucky you may get an incoming patrol in addition to a reception committee, for a total of 12 to 16 enemies. But this is very rare. The best way to ensure a good supply of enemies is to make the right factions hostile. Add BH for Omicron Alpha/Gamma, BH and GMG for Omicron Beta.

Antilles, are you attempting forcible procreation with a sheep during your ill-thought out post??

i'm just curious about where others are laying down their battle lines. i dont want to miss out on the best battles of the game.

or am i the only person that still does single player combat?
i tried the online like twice so far...

Welp, I've been playing mostly my "evil" campaign the last few weeks... every lawful faction hates me, every criminal faction loves me. IMG, GMG, Zoners, Hogosha and Farmers are neutral for now. Jumping into "civilized" space through a gate is lots of fun if you catch the police/military, the bounty hunters and a couple of corporate groups all at the same time. I think I've had 15 or 16 shooting at me all at once on occasions, maybe a few more. The pooter gets kind of slow when that happens.

Ever get the feeling... you're standing on plastic?

After I finished the SP game, I purchased a Patriot and equipped it with advanced scorpians and flew to Kyoto to do missions against the Kusari Navy. I did fairly well against them, so I went to Rheinland and found some lvl.23 mission against some Corsairs. That was very hard, I assassinated the guy I was sent against, but his buddies finished me off with their lvl 7 Angelitos. There was only room for a couple of mistakes against such odds. (About 8 Centurions)
If you a really good pilot, I guess you could get a starflier and do some missions against bounty hunters out of Malta. That would be something to brag about, if you could complete a lvl 30+ mission in a starflier.
