Q about Nomad weapons

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Q about Nomad weapons

After the campaign.
Are they available in Singleplay? I have shot like 30 Nomads but still no weapon, not even a blaster.

you have to have a certain level to get them to drop, no idea in single player as I dont use them. But online on a v1.1 server min level you need is 30 before they drop, on a v1 server lvl 32

I'm currently level 36 in SP. I just finished the Sp and now i'm cruising around about. Hmmm...

Hah! When I leveled up to 36 and fought a batch of Nomads they dropped 2 blasters. It seems they are dropped at level 36.

Thanks

For getting weapon loot drops it is not rank or level that counts, it is the net worth. In MP your level always corresponds to your net worth but in SP it doesn't.

During the campaign your level can be much higher or lower than the level you would have in MP for the same net worth, and after the campaign the rank 'latches' - that is, your rank is not lowered if you lose net worth.

So you can get Nomad weapon drops at level 14 during the campaign (provided you are rich enough, which is easy with all the CODENAME/Paralyzer wrecks) but it can also happen that you don't get any drops at level 36 if you have spent a lot of money after attaining that rank (ship, shield, weapons, fun stuff like Sunslayers/Rippers/Cannonballs ...). It can be very frustrating if you waste ten wings of Nomads without getting a single drop.
