Are Pirates a faction?!

Hi all.

I've heard/read talks/posts of Pirates, but I've never found a "pirate" ship. Are these a faction I've just never ran into, or it's just a generic reference for Corsairs/Outcats/Hessians/etc?

Same as some organisations like BMM, GMG etc have Enemies: Criminals.

I think Pirates are the Trinity alliance, which is the Rogues, Lane Hackers, and the Outcasts.

I saw some rogues in Kusari before. 0_o

Outcasts are the "independents" since they created that line of ships

Rogues and Lane Hackers are probably these "pirates"

I see the Bunschuh using Border World fighters, and the Zoners as well. So I think the Outcasts are merely part of the Border Wrolds and using their ships as well...

But the Corsairs on the other hand....

Zoners use Civilian and Iworld Craft

Rhienland uses Iworld craft.

What do you mean? Rheinland military uses valkeries and police use banshees which are Rheinland craft. Also most Rheinland companies use humpbacks which are Rheinland as well.

Ah I see. It is interesting how only about one pirate group per house bothers to use ships other than the civilian and borderworld lines.

pirates are a faction...they have a light & heavy fighter + a freighter..the mule(FR) bloodhound(LF) and wolfhound(HF) used by mollys & liberty rogues

There is NO Border World Line.

There is the Independant World Ships (OUTCAST BY DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE)
Civilian (FROM LIBERTY YES YOUR PRECIOUS EAGLE IS RELATED TO THE DEFENDER AND THAT BRICK STARTRACKER)
PIRATE (MISC MANUFACTURE)
AND
Corsair(Corsair)
