What happens after the alien a**kicking??

I´m at level 37 now, and the last thing they said to me was (after I kicked the aliens buts) "Find a job"..? Ehh, ok? So the game is now to fly around and get as much money as possible? I also have visited all the systems, all the bases, been friends and enemys with both the "good guys" and the "bad guys". I have no clue of what to do with all the money I have... did the game finish after the alienpart or what? It seems to me that I have missed something... =/

Please help me out here, cause I loved playin the SP-game and it would be a shame if there is no story at all after the Aliens left...

No no more story missions, but of course there's still more aliens, in Omicron Alpha and...uh...Gamma? There are jumpholes surrounded by Wrecks, you'll find more Nomads there, don't know if you already found that or not, but you didn't mention it so I suspect you haven't.

I'm afraid that once you have finished the nomad slaughter that's it, i suggest downloading something like the freelancer firebalance 2.0 and the mod manager for it and then have fun all over again, the mod hold loads of new ships from other spacefairing games and changes things in the game so that its harder and you get lots more run-ins with large fleets of battleships owned by your enemies. apart from that you have finished the game, you could always do the online fighting thing if you connection is up to it.

The Nomad thing in the Omicron area? hmmm... noup havent tried that one I think. Been in the system but with my eyes closed I think.

Cover me, I´m going in!! =)

Thx for the tips both of you! Thought that it was finished now, when it actually was not. Nice surprise I might say!

well yall seem to know about those systems....plz go to my thread (Unknown systems, PLanet PRimus) and explain it to a lost, lonely, confused ship captain.
