"fly into the sun" bonus?

hi all

i can remember a threat( i think it was named "cheats"

in which somebody said something about flying with a specific ship into a specific sun to get another ship...
now i wanted to ask: is that true or was it just a joke i didn't understand?
if it's true...where do i have to fly with an eagle?

Ahh! The big "fly into the sun at exactly 97 degrees and get an übership"-trick ! I still wonder how many people actually tried this

I do know this other trick that does work.. Here's what you gotta do:

As soon as there're some hostiles in range you go to your inventory and.....

Nah!.... You wouldn't buy it anymore!

Nono to get a battleship you have to dock and undock at a shipyard (any of them, each one gives a different battleship) 800 times. :p

In Rebalance 1.9 I had one of the ships with hyper drive (2500 speed) and i decided to fly through the sun. It was all going well untill I crashed into somthing at the center of the sun itself and was thrown of course. It was fun...

Personally, i think it is much funnier watching transports trying to dock, fly into the sun, it cracks me up everytime

Hah, I love watching Transports mess themselves up at Manhattan...

Nearly half of them blow up in the atmosphere.

Too bad they don't drop loot if you haven't shot them
