8 SLEEPER SHIPS

there were 8 sleeper ships

3 of them were destroyed by the coalition,4 of them got to sirius intact (kusari,liberty,rheinland and bretonia) the hispabia was damaged and reached sirius (some of the poeple decided to board the shuttles and leave ->corsairs the rest stayed until it finally stopped at malta->outcasts)

And the Corsairs took planetfall on Planet Crete, Omicron Gamma. (Ah home...)

Where did you hear there was 8?

Not in the intro, not in the original intro... some rumor? Rumors are rumors.

Only 5 ships, and all of them got to Sirius, a single one didn't get destroyed.

Yep... a believe it's the bartender who tells the story about the 8 ships... strange that you see only five in the intro...

"against all odds the 5 sleeperships broke trough coalition defenses... bla bla"

Maybe they changed the storyline but forgot to take this rumour out of the game.

I heard the same rumor about the 8 sleeper ships. I also recall the guy saying they launched from Pluto, while in the intro you see the ships launching from one of Jupiters moons. Could the other three have launched from pluto, while the 5 known sleeper ships launched from Jupiter's moon?
Please correct me if I'm wrong about Pluto, but I'm sure I heard someone mentioning that planet.

On the forums somewhere someone has screenshotted the rumour which goes like this:
8 sleepships were original built. However 3 didn't make it out of Sol. Hence the 5 that made it here, Liberty, Kusari, Bretonia, Rheinland and the Hespania.

If it wasn't for the inky blackness of the night you wouldn't appreciate the brilliance of the stars...

That's the backstory. There are no unknown other three. By that point in the war, all the other Alliance member nations were probably either defeated or too small in numbers to justify building additional ships(and in that case, probably put on one of the other ships instead).
