Jump holes and gates

Every time i dock with one the computer freezes. Is there a way to skip the animation. Thanks.

In the demo you aren't meant to get out of New York. The jumpholes and jumpgates are not supposed to work and the ones in New York are all locked to keep you out of trouble. If you unlock them by editing the files, or if you cheat your way into another system where the holes/gates are not locked, then you get whatever you get - probably a never-ending gate tunnel.
