NavMap

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

NavMap

Is there any kind of file u can download for SP that lets your in-game NavMap see all JumpGates, JumpHoles, Bases, Planets etc?
Or do I have to keep on minimizing my game to look at the Clickable map lol
Thanx

I don't think so...thats why I have two comps. One for the game, one for the map.

I have always thought it a nuisance that you have to discover all the systems, jumps and bases anew if you start a new singleplayer game.

It is possible to write a utility that merges all the base_visited, sys_visited etc. entries from the savegames in your singleplayer directory into a savegame of your choice, so that the nav map in this savegame represents the sum total of your discoveries. So you could have one post-campaign path where you go exploring with your Eagle, and then simply synchronize your discoveries into the latest savegame from your Humpback career ... Would there be interest for such a toy?

I think there would probably be great interest in such an app - I know I'd like it.
