The Adv. Champion Shields

I think a lot of people have realised this, when your in the outer world systems and you scan other ships they have champion shield. I also read that there is an Adv. Champion Shield (graviton based, over 11,000 in power and great regeneration rate). Has anyone actually found a place to buy this shield or is it just total myth and really the best shield you can buy is that adv. brigadane one (i think that it anyway, from the planets malta and crete). Anyway any knowledge on this Adv Champion shield wherabouts or existence would be helpful!

there is about 10 topics about adv. champion shields alredy.

U cant get it unless u use a MOD

But yes, the answer is no, you can't get it unless you mod. Not that you'd want it. After all, it has a recharge rate of 1. In fact, all NPC ships' shields have a recharge rate of 1.

Actually, if you think about it, since as you said "All NPC shields have a Recharge Rate of 1." The likelyhood that the Adv. Champion-a buyable version, that is-would also be one, is slim to none, since the Protector that comes with the VHFs isn't 1 yet any of the NPCs' Protectors ARE 1. You could point that out about any of the sheilds...

I think only the Corsairs sell them at Crete and Tripoli...
