What is the most powerful turret in Freelancer? And where can I find it?

Skyblast Turret B (2038 dmg/s), Gas Miner Naha, Sigma-13

Pity that there is no Kraken Type 2 turret, though. That one would be really powerful.

What's wrong with it? I found it just right for my taste except for the sound effect.

The best turret is found in Omega 41, on one of the bases, can't remember which. It is the Salamanca class 9 turret.

Best turret depends on what you want it for. For the Eagle you need the skyblast as when it fires your turning that tight that it doesn't throw your aim off. But try using a skyblast on a Sabre and it will alter your aim enough to make its extra power useless, so better using the Salamanca which doesn't

Sorry guys, but I only use an Adv. Debilitator. With 800 something shield damage, it does the trick, especially when I'm in my Eagle running from 3 Patriots! :p

the skyblast class 9 turret is the turret with the most dam/sec

but if there was a kraken class 9 turret i would take that 1

i use mostly salmanca class 9 turret (i like in the begin firespraying weap, but later i go for the powerfull slowfire weap)
