I dont know if this is in the right forum. but here goes...

There's an editor called artmoney which enables you to edit numerical values in a game in real time... you load your freelancer game and then start artmoney... choose Freelancer in the list of applications... search for your exact balance and then type in your new one.. just remember to edit your total worth to the same increase.. you can't change your level or anything because it finds too many matches but its just in case you need the extra cash for the right ship/weapon/goods purchase. If anyone's interested but has trouble finding it just post on here and I'll try and find the link... it's only about 700k.
