If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

The Demo is limited to level 1 as soon as you hit level 2 the game quits.

the website says you can access all of Liberty in the Demo? That's bull****. Are you sure you were on the official website?

Actually dude, the website does say the whole Liberty system. And the demo on the DVD with my magazine said it as well. But it's just New York when I tried it, the gates and holes are access denied. That's Micros*%t for you.

Could people all file complaints to M$ because of this so they might release a patch fixing their lies. Could somone make a mod to work around this ?

After you've finished the demo, don't uninstall it, instead use it as a
simulator for the simulator! The demo ends at Level 2, but you can get a
saved game for the demo that will give you a 1 million credit limit at:

http://freelancer.portalive.com (Thanks, Sir Carcass!)

Now go to www.lancersreactor.com and download: Weapon and Ship Mod v.0.3

This MOD enables all the ships and weapons that are hidden in the sourcecode
of the Demo. (Thanks to Mubata)

Now you can try out loadouts painlessly, and play around with class 10 guns!

Edit I stand fully corrected I am very sorry for digging this up but I have several points I think people should see. 1 In the Demo you can go anywhere in Sirus 2. You can fly any ship in sirus 3. you can execute later missions if you edit the code correctly 4. People should be careful when releasing mods or modding tools Ex. TNG which is a great mod gives away the full version's exe Ex Freelancer Sdk gives away every dll in Freelancer that leaves you short some audio clips and models and content.dll which comes with most open sp mods. Models you can strip out of other mods as well as audio Something should be done to make the demo less usable and we should be carefull about the files we realese.
I have nothing against the mods that give away data in fact they are fun to use and are good resources however if we give away too much some people will just pirate the game using the files we have uploaded or made with good intentions.

Demouser: I have no wish to join the play, but rather to see it enacted. My only concern is to avoid having the lands of Microsoftia bare down on myself.

If you can't read this you are a retard
