galaxy in the distance mayby?

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea for melting down coins to make a giant robotic parrot was a bad idea, I would have one kicka$$ giant robotic parrot.

Looks like background to me.

probably a star that may have been shaped differently due to..graphic problem? low resolution? I don't know; but it's not like it is very important..

It is a rendering issue -- blending a particle in "additive" mode with the background. If you look closer, you'll see exactly the same thing in the lower right part of the screenshot.
BTW i see you've been busy w/ the new ships... How come you never publish/upload those on TLR? I'm sure they're great... And you can never have too many ships...

One Question... what is that ship?

Yeah that's a graphic your pointing at you get some strange ones, I had one that looked like 3 Prison Ships together near Aso.

That ship is part of Dark Legion, it is a DarkFighter, click here for images from doga and also other ships that will not be included.

Judging by the light blue aura around it, it seems to be a jumphole or something of that nature. Since you were in the Pittsburgh debris field, it could also have been the anomaly that was determined (by players) to be there. I think that it might be a graphic problem in which the designers intended to put a jumphole to another system (Alaska?) but decided to change it at the last moment, forgetting the code for it was still there.
