Rebalance questions

Rebalance questions

First of all are those missle launchers that you can't buy in the normal game (parilizer i think?) available in this mod? if so, where?

Second, I'm having a small problem with some of the ships. The level 10 fraighter for one. It shows up on the dealer list but it's not on the floor (looks invisable). If I buy that ship and go to eather the equipment dealer or out to space the game will crash. I have reinstalled both the game and the mod sevral times with no change to the problem. Any ideas?

Sounds like you are running a mod. First thing I would do is see if there is an updated version of the mod you are using. If not are you using FLMM? It really works, give it a shot

yes, I am using the rebalance mod... Hence the subject "Rebalance questions" And yes, I used FLMM.

Nope. Like I said, most of the new ships work right. So far I noticed the whitestar and the cruser on planet creat are the only "gost ships" (At liest I think its a cruser sence I can't see it) but I haven't been everywhere yet... They are on the selling list, and I can buy them but the game crashes if I do. I currently flying the x-wing so I know it's not all of the new ships.

Which class 10 freighter are you refering to? Maybe you have to download it seperately.

Thanks for the quick replies.

I think it's called the whitestar cruser or somthing like that. The info on the ship is there, it's the skin thats missing i guess... Most of the ships that came with the mod are working, kinda makes me think that it's there but FLMM put the skin in the wrong place. I'm not much of a moder so I'm not sure where to look. I was hoping that someone else was having the same problem and knew the fix. If so, let me in on it.

I looked through the ship directories and couldn't find the cruiser so you need to download it manually and copy it into the ships directory.

I have the ghost ship issues with the blockade runner. I can target them, but all I get is "brackets" in space.

The info is there becuase it's supposed to be. You could delete the patriot and the info would still show up because it's stored in another file.

Yogimus, did you download the star wars ship pack? I don't know if they come with the newest version or not but I had to download them manually, there's a new SW ship pack on the front page that should have them in there.

O.k. thanks for the help guys. I noticed that a new rebalance version came to life a couple of days ago. On the dicription it says that you further downloads required. I'll try that version and if that dosn't work I'll try to manualy install the ships. Again thanks.

I would check it out if i were you. Besides the missing ship problems which might be my dumbass who's causing them, it makes the game more fun. When I first started using it I was trying to improve my rep with the rouges by plasing away at the police depots... next thing I know I had fleets of liberty battleships and crusers engaging me, I didn't last too long. even the xenos have gunboats. And you can upgrade your engines, scanners, tracktorbeams, generators, and all the other stuff you can't do in the normal game. this mod is verry well made.
