I was wondering why everyone thinks the hobo (yes hobo) Eagle is so great? And I believe that this is like an RPG because the fact is all ships, between the Titan, Sabre and Eagle are pretty much all the same if you look at it as the Eagle with fast capable movements but weak in armor. Titan with the great force yet the slow frieghter movement, and the Sabre with agility but is big easier target to hit. So lets get the real truth on the ships and stop the bs or crap about what ship is superior or tell me what you think about my accuracy. Maybe you think I should be put in the nuthouse.

Everyone prefers speed in a dogfight, hence the eagle. But don't forget about the forward firing turret on the sabre.

Hammerhead for me. Next comes the Banshee. Next after that will be something a little lower. The class 10s are effectively shelved until I can succeed killing one each of Eagle, Sabre, and Titan in a decked out Patriot.

you guys are talking about the banshee, but i think the falcon is one of the greatest ships in the game. i took out 4 red hessian sabres with it, i have 3 hornvipers and 2 catapult missles. i think i lost shields once and that was on the first run. it was a lv. 38 mission too so its not like they wernt out fitted. it was hard, long, but a really fun fight. anyways i like it over banshee because it can hold guns a level over it. and its got more ports, and a bigger bay, and i just think its great, its maneuverability is awesome for a heavy fighter too.

Let' me repeat it for the 1000th time... after I literally flew rings around this guy in his Sabre with my Eagle I'm not going to use another VHF, unless I get bored that is.

i have 2 characters

FireFox -> sabre with nomad blasters and kraken type 2, and salmanca turret
got also ripper mine and hornet cruise on it

FoxHunter -> eagle with till now 1 tizona del cid and 5 salmanca mk2,
salmancaturret as wel... the almost besteest homing mine and also
hornet cruise and adv. countermeas

y does there excist countermeasures?? i never use them, from the most missiles i flew away by turning or speed them out

Ok...Here's my thoughts on the whole deal...The eagle is obviously the best choice for dog fighting and such hence its great manueverability. The sabre has a little bit more armor and has a forward turret mount, but is less on manueverability. The sabre is kinda the "median" of the two---eagle and titan. Now the titan, well for the titan, that's another story.
