Is there any way to display the entire navmap?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Is there any way to display the entire navmap?

Just as the topic suggests, I was wondering if there is any way I can edit some freelancer ini's, or something of the sort, to display the entire navmap. I discovered most of the galaxy in both single player and multiplayer, but lost my savegames. Any help would be much appreciated.

The only thing you need to do in your universe.ini is change visit = 0 to visit = 1
So if you take for example Texas:

[system
nickname = Li04
file = systems\Li04\Li04.ini
pos = 8, 9
msg_id_prefix = gcs_refer_system_Li04
visit = 0
strid_name = 196612
ids_info = 66126

change to:

[system
nickname = Li04
file = systems\Li04\Li04.ini
pos = 8, 9
msg_id_prefix = gcs_refer_system_Li04
visit = 1
strid_name = 196612
ids_info = 66126

If you do that at all systems, you'll have them on your nav map.

There's also that IRONCROSS Character Editor by JoeBoomz. You can select "Show all on NavMap". Look for it in the downloads section.

If you know how to use Jor's flcodec and edit the decoded save-game files using a text editor, then the information on this thread might help you, especially the one on page 2 .

The above info is good. Here is another hot tip.
You can download DataStorm 2.2 for a map of the universe that I guarentee you will give you the ultimate solution. This mapsystem also works with mods if you rename/delete the primary database file and reload the program. Hellfire explains this on their web page.
See downloads section for DataStorm's map. This is not a mod.
