My trade run I used to build up a tidy sum was planet los Angeles (buy boron at low price) take it to Stokes Mining Station in Leeds. It's a little risky if you use the Jump Hole in the Manchester system but if your armed right you can make it. The boron purchas price is about $140 in Los Angeles and sells for $900 at Stokes.

Take a load of berillium from Stokes back to Los Angeles on the return trip. Overall it will net about 100,000 plus per run if you use a clydesdale.

Like I said in the other thread Boron goes for more at LD-14, and Beryllium is cheaper at Kensington, and more expensive at Pueblo, so if you do that, you can also just go to Pittsburgh to get the Boron which is also cheaper.

Oh yeah, and the Yanagai Depot->Planet New Berlin is hands down the best, no way around it, period.

Here's another decent run, quite similar to the New Berlin - Yanagi run especially in multiplayer without the Sigma-13 jump hole:

Artifacts from Cadiz in Omega-5 to Planet New London, and Light Arms on the return trip. The round trip is 1500 profit per cargo unit, and takes about 8 minutes each way. Half of that time is spent between the trade lane and the jump hole in Cambridge; you can amuse yourself elsewhere for those few minutes.

It's also VERY good to run for cash during the Bretonia phase of the SP campaign; you do have to get to neutral with the Corsairs but you can do that by camping the famous Bounty Hunters' Sheffield Station.

i hang around near buffalo base in the new york system and blast evrything insight. Quite often the Mules are containing cardamine then i go off to manhatten an sell it for sumthing like 1500 per unit

I did the math. Freiburg Station, Stuttgart to Planet New Tokyo. Diamonds. It is not the best of the long trade routes judging by how much money you get at the end but it is about 2-3 systems shorter than most others. Also, on the return trip by Noibium from Planet Kyushu and sell at Leipzig Station, Dresden. Repeat ubtil rich. I got 4.3 million frm this and all my other tade routs. I've found 38 of the most profitable ones so nomatter where youre going a profit can be made.

From Mactan Base with Cardamine => Beaumont Base
then
Beaumont Base with Engine Components => Mactan Base

This is a very short route if you use the jump gate from Mactan to New York, then take the Jump Hole from New York to Texas. and vice-versa.

I've got a relatively decent, super short run.

Buy a humpback/dromedary.

Buy engine components in Freiburg Station, Stuttgart. ($375)
Travel 1 trade lane west to Stuttgart>Omega-7 Jumpgate
Jump to Omega-7
Travel 1 more tradelane west from the Omega-7>Stuttgart Jumpgate
Dock at Freistadt Station.
Sell the engine components. ($825)
Buy Silver.
Go back to Freiburg and sell the silver.
Rinse, and repeat.

$112,500 profit (PROFIT, clear in the hand) for a two tradelane, one jump trade route. I made a cool "gorilla gorilla's"(1,000,000) in less than 1/2 an hour.

Oh, beware of Red Hessians, and Corsairs. In MP, I found that if I couldn't get armed escorts (by that I mean other players online...) to come with me, the best way to survive trade lane disruptions was to perform a circle in front of the damaged tradelane with afterburners on until it was repaired, then re-dock. Dogfighting in a freighter ain't exactly my forte.

You need to be good with the Mollys and Red Hessians for this.

3. Go to New Tokyo, sell diamonds for $1650. Buy Luxury Consumer Goods for $810.
4. Go to Planet Honshu, sell Lux. Cons. Goods for $990. Buy Engine components for $150.
5. Go to Arranmore Base in Dublin(Mollys), sell for $1500. Buy Gold for $271.
6. Go to Planet New Berlin, Sell for $1189 and go back to No. 1.
