Spoiler or Glitch? Can someone help me out?

I don't understand it. I have finished the main quest at level 19 - it says my next level requires me to have a certain amount of money. I now have more than that amount but I haven't advanced up to the next level. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong? Can someone who doesn't have an axe to grind help me out? I have enough money, do I need to do more missions or what?

Its how much MORE you need to advance...

The field that displays how much to next level usually indicates how much MORE cash you need to aquire in order to advance not how much total worth you must have to advance.

the highest level you can get is 38 and is what i am

Actually, it seems that during the campaign, it shows to total worth you must have for the next level, but after the campaign, it's how much MORE wealth you must have to level. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what happens.

The same happens with my copy. I kept making money and eventually i have gone up levels. I thought i was unique with this problem. I even tried to get microsoft to spring me a new copy- no luck though.

As said eariler. during the SP Campaign the Next Level is shown as how much total worth you must reach. afterwards it becomes a 'count down' showing how much more you need to reach the next level.
