4 WildFires

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

4 WildFires

Uhm.. I have read many guides to hidden wrecks and all.. but one thing bothers me..

Of all the guides i have seen the Level 10 weapons can only be aquired by pair, and that's all you can get, Two of the same kind.

Well, here's the thing in my game i pilot a titan, with 4 wildfires and 2 wyrm type 2 and a wyrm turret.

I'm just wondering is it normal that i had 4 WildFire's?
I also remember recieving 2 DiamonBack, which after selling it and after a few days of exploring i got another pair again.

Are these normal?
If it is, where can i get more of the same kind of Lvl 10 weapons?
If it is not, has anybody had these kind of experience?

I don't remeber where i got them but i think my wildfires were from the wrecks near the unknown jump gate to the nomad world.

they respawn on a server restart

Yes it is true that they respawn on server restart but you cannot pick them up again unless you are using a cheat that allows you to do so.

You get the Wild Fire guns on the Pathfinder wreck in Omicron Beta, and all the wrecks in Omicron Beta have a glitch that make it so you can get their loot over and over. In SP, all you have to do is go out of the system and come back, or even just dock at Ruiz Base and go back out, and you can get their loot again and again. In MP, the server "remembers" the state of wrecks while it's up, but after a restart it will go by the flag in your player profile saying whether you have already tried to loot those wrecks, and the glitch comes back into effect because your profile never gets those flags set in it. This is also the case with the wrecks in Omega-7. A little mistake the devs made in the .ini files for those two systems. Lucky mistake, though, because the Wild Fire guns are the best of the c10 codename guns, I think, because they do just a little bit less damage than the Diamondback or Cerberus guns, but have the best energy efficiency of all of them.

I know about Omicron Beta and Omega 7 wreaks respawning but that does not happen in sigma 13 where the DIAMONDBACK is located.

Wildfire,

Why are you sorry for your English?

You have to remember that you speak 2 or more languages, while many native English speaking people only speak 1 language (their own).

Only like 5 to 10 percent of the world population speaks more than one language, fluently.

And less than half of them speaks more than 3 language..

unfortunately, I only speak two..

And Wildfire - your English is actually better than that of several native speakers I know. The all-time worst offenders as far as mangling this language are those for whom it is a native tongue.

Also, for any wreck in SP, they respawn on the same terms as those in MP. Meaning if you exit Freelancer and then come back later, all the wrecks you've looted will have their weapons back - only there is no flag set which keeps you from looting them again and again, or so my six Diamondbacks tell me. =)

Don't go using that as a regular weapons configuration though, I think I managed to fire two full volleys before running out of power. Still, that did mean two less bounty hunters but it's no good for a long fight.

Yes, it is a bad pun.
