Perhaps you could read some of the posts here? All sorts of interesting subjects like the lost sleeper ship Hispania, various VHF fighters, Nomad systems, Class 10 guns, etc.

Try to get the Corsairs Titan ship, cos Hammerhead is suxon ship. I also finished the game but now I am having fun trying to locate all pirates bases without the help of the spoiler map and also trying to neutralize all my faction rating. The latter is the toughest!

I would suggest playing multiplayer. MP gives you so many things to do. You can group up with other people, duel with other players, help out the newbs, and many other things. Lone wolf also had a good point, there are still many things to be found and many sectors to visit. Personally my favorite thing to do is help out the newbs. I usually take them out to hamburg, spot them a few credits to buy a humpback, then show them a nice trade route or two. Go make some real life allies and enemies, it makes the game a lot more fun. Especially the real life enemies Come play at Calgury 24/7 (I think that’s the name) I will get you started.

Now you go to the mods download page and play them which offer some of what the dev's left out of the game and gives it a nice lease of fresh air
