Dromadory

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Dromadory

In what level (SP) did you get to dock at the maclan base? I want to buy the Dromadory there, but i can't find it in my saved games anymore.

You cannot buy it on the SP mission where you arrive to Mactan. Your level is too low.

Ya, I just restarted the game, and it's level 10 for the ship.
I had no success coming back @ 10, Outcasts made sure I couldn't dock.
Ditto with Cuda @ 13, hostile trade lane kept Curacao hostile.

To get the one humper. Park yourself at free port four and do one of two things.

1. Kill Bounty hunters. They hate you at this point so they are an easy target. Dock at Freeport four stock up and blast bounty hunters again. Trust me they will be waiting for you as soon as you un dock. Kill enough and the Hackers will go netural. Fly out to Mcctaan and get that camel.

2. Check out the bar crowd. Chaces are you will find a Hacker that you can bribe if you got the funds. Also doing a job for the Rouges tht vist the base will get the hackers to like you better.

It's odd that I never had trouble with the outcasts causing the lane hackers to go hostile on me even though they hated me and I docked at that base quite a few times during that point in the game. It seems everybody else finds it almost impossible. I guess I just got really lucky.

The Hackers are neutral to you at that point in the story, but if the Outcasts are hostile towards you they can use their ally relationship to turn the Hackers against you. It's just random chance if some Outcasts ships show up around Mactan while you're heading to it. But the Outcasts have plenty of enemies you can kill to get back in their good graces.

Just a reminder.. there is an excel spreadsheet in the download section of reactor that lists all the "reaction" values for killing certain factions. I think it's called "allianaces" or something like that. Also, I do not know how accurate it is.

I think I'll pass on the Dromedary until after SP. Since I had a Humper last time,
I'll try it this time around. Right now I could afford a Falcon if I could buy 1,
so why have a Freighter? Not worth the hassle.

I'm right at the Hovis Race, then I must run from Bretonia, if I remember right.
I don't relish the thought of Racing in a freighter or fighting the coming battles
without my Torps. I can't _wait_ to get rid of this P.O.S. Crusader, but I will
have jump to Cuda like last time, I guess. Spoiled by Eagle.

I fly a Drome for the sake of flying a Drome ... well, a very heavily modified one I admit!

I don't like the Drom except in Multi for Cardamine Runs from Monte to Rochester. Much prefer a Mule.

Mule? Never tried one, how is it? What're the hard-point ratings?

For a larf, I bought a Clydesdale as a test as a mini version of Dromedary.
Just to see how it dog-fight, not saved. Didn't do too well, but YMMV.
