Has anybody been back to alaska since the sp? is there any thing worth while there?

Actually, you can't get back to Alaska after the SP story is finished. The gate becomes locked, and you will get "access denied" errors when you try to dock with it. Not that it matters, the system is almost empty except for the plot stuff.
The difficult we do immediately; the impossible just takes longer.
