how to get in ?
from new york system there is a minefield...
is it worth trying to find an entrance ?

Once you beat the single player campaign the jump gate to alaska is disabled. meaning you can't use it so therefor you can't get to the alaska system.

even if you do get to it you can't use it after you complete the main campaign..... its just there.
