location of the flint

can someone tell me the exact location of the flint in the new york system. Normally how did others know about this is they didn't ask. Is the flint part of the story or something?

I don't even have close to a clue of what you are talking about.

the flint is a wreck in the Badlands. it is in sector 6C of the New York system. you can find a complete list of other wrecks (and what they are carrying) here

and as to how others find wrecks with out asking, is that they just try to fly everywhere in each system (or at least get in scanner range of everything, as wrecks show up as bold red X's on the nav map)
