Which Thruster is the best?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

The best thruster is the cleverly named "Advnaced thruster" ! only drains about 125 when the original one you get at the start is 200. Think it costs about $6,000 and there are loads of places to buy them. try the Tau systems, Kusari and rheinland. most equipment dealers have them.

well the advanced is the best ive found unless anyone knows any different

yup, advanced is the best. There are these types: Thruster(basic), An intermediate thruster(not sure of name), Heavy Thruster, Order Thruster, and Advanced Thruster. Advanced is by far the best, and can take you about 9k on a single burn. And since any thruster will fit on any ship, there's no reason NOT to have one.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000

actually there is a trick to make even basic thrusters last infinitely.

here's how: thruster to 200. press Z to kill the engine, now your speed will drop slower when u disengage the thrusters since your engine is dead and u r travelling from the inertia. just ease up the thrusters when it's 5% and press down again. repeat. i kept my speed at 195 this way.

This doens't work in dogfight, since you turn and spin a lot, you'll end up drifting backwards =)

Tapping the key also works pretty well. Only uses a few percent and by the time your finger comes down again, It's already recharged.
