Missions

Having played about half the SP game the only missions I have been able to find are basically search and destroy type missions. Has anyone seen any other type of missions like convoy escort or freight missions - I have flown a freighter for a while but that didn't seem to impact the type of missions available to myself. Is this because the only missions that I have done previously have been search and destroy or is this the only type of missions avaible.

There are a few categories for missions, I have seen Kill Ships, Destroy Base, Assassinate/Capture Leader, Destroy Cargo, and Tractor Cargo. There are no other missions to the best of my knowledge, and if you want money, take a Corsair mission. They pay 100K up.

Unfortunately there are no freighting missions. You just buy whatever you want and sell it somewhere.

At the first view there are different kind of missions, but it is all the same: kill the enemy ships. That's all. Not much imagination for missions.

I agree that a better choice of missions would be desirable. Expansion pack onyone?

Assassinate missions are the easiest since you virtually have to destroy only one enemy ship. When that is done you could simply fly away.

the assasination ones are easiest or the tractor cargo ones, all you have to do is kill 1 ship, then press B and youre done.
