If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea of building a giant robotic parrot out of melted down coins was a bad idea, I would have one kick a$$ giant robotic parrot.

unless you did some looking into.. you can't have known that.. i didn't.. freelancer hasn't been out long enough till any septembers.


This is currently registered with the FAA as a glider, and according to FAA records, it has no engine - which is technically true, if you ignore that large rocket in back.

It's very simple: no docking ring = no landing. Now, if there was a docking ring on it that gave you "access denied" when you tried to dock with it, then maybe. I think it was just a mistake that a faction ownership tag was put on (or left on) that dead chunk of rock.

It's kind of strange, though, because in the SP campaign, I'm sure I heard Sinclair say that she had been on planet Pygar and that is where she found the artifact. Doesn't seem to make sense...

Why not?
The Zoners do not have a homeworld (no, not the game).
I mean they do have a bunch of Freeports with some Biodomes on 'em... But no planet. And if you talk to them frequently you'll get something like "...and one day we will have our own system..."
So I think that Sinclair may have been there for acheological research before the Zoners start to terraform Pygar...
Also on one of the Freeports, I sold some Terraforming Gasses at an enourmus price, alas I don't remember which one... So anyway, YOU cannot land on Pygar (w/o modding, at least), but others seem to be able to do that. Maybe the sequel/expansion will shed some light on this...

Maybe he was brainwashed and September 18th is as long back as he can remember, so it haunts him, and...
