Bases Dublin are the accessable?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Bases Dublin are the accessable?

i was fly around dublin and i found the race track and battleship hood. so i thought i would follow the patrol paths. i come up on a mollys base but it's surronded by mines. so i think i can go slow next thing i hear is people diying all around me then my sheilds go down next thing i know im sucking air in space is did this several times

is there a way to get to those 2 bases?

The Molly's base is easy to get to if you have enough ship/shields. A VHF with a level 10 shield is more than enough. It's real fun to park outside their base and just smear wave after wave all over your cockpit ;-) Sounds as if you might be in something less for a ship??

You can also park in the minefield and let it do most of the work killing Mollys while you mine Gold. That field has the best return rate (50% according to the Guide) for mining gold.

You should be able to find a hole in the minefield somewhere.

You may have noticed that the NPC ships are really dumb when it comes to mines. Even if you aren't setting off the mines around you, it's practically guaranteed that any NPC ships within your sensor range will be setting them off left and right -- and mines have a blast radius much larger than their trigger radius. When you're picking your way carefully through a minefield, and there are NPC ships blundering around, even as far as 1k away, you should watch your shield level closely... and be ready with the batteries.

Don't stop in a minefield when a mine takes out your shield. Mines respawn a few seconds after exploding. So if you set off a mine and immediately stop a few seconds later it will respawn and you'll set it off again. Sit there too long and it will take you out.

Once upon a time I formed up with this NPC Junker ship so that I can let go of the controls and do something else, we entered this gas field and before I knew it the guy said "this is too much..." and started turning around in the middle of that stupid gas field... a second later, BOOM!!
