I had trouble with that mission too. I end up ignoring the fighters and went straight for the shield generators, launching torpedos and missles while firing my guns. I emptied out my batteries and almost my nano bots on that mission. I also used up a lot of countermeasures and mines to get enemy fighters off my back.

When approaching, ignore the fighters and head to the bottom of the rock. Come up through the center hole (the radiation doesn't bother your hull.) Stay on the opposite side of the arch from the Battleship and blast away at the shield generators. Take them out as fast as you can and then follow the instructions of where to go next

Yup, had a lott of trouble with that mission too, just head to the shield generators.

ok, but what do I do if i'm flying a hawk light fighter?

How do you guys play the game?...Just sit there and shoot?..

Come one!!.... make high speed passes. Afterburn in, shoot, afterburn out.

Don't expect that thing to come down in a few shots. It's a fortress for god sake!

FLy a hawk, starflier, heck, even a humpback, you can still win it. Put in your flying skills. Straight lines are bad, fly erratically... The trick is to keep up the pressure.

Must I fly it for you?....



..and I just wonder, where do I buy one of those?...
