If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea of building a giant robotic parrot out of melted down coins was a bad idea, I would have one kick a$$ giant robotic parrot.

Yeah, there are other posts but anyway there seem to be 2 schools of thought on this :

1. All the VHF's handle like buckets. Be glad you've got the firepower, up your mouse sensitivity a bit. Think of them as tanks in space.

2. The less hull damage it can sustain the better it handle. So from best to worst Anubis-->Eagle-->Sabre-->Titan.

Personally i think they all handle like buckets, if you get one you are going to get hit quite a bit. Makes you a better pilot tho. Upping the mouse sensitivity helps alot. Personally i settled for the sabre, its not like you need the extra hull power anyway and energy considerations fade away once you hav nomads. What swung it was the forward turret (and the starwars look ) tho you can get a FF turret mod now.

i think eagles handle better than 'buckets'... anubis' firepower stinks... i'm gonna try for one of the banshee's or the rheinland greens.
i personally think the dagger/stiletto/sabre is crap.. sabre really handles like a bucket, and it looks like crap.. the eagle is only a little better, i don't like the wide wings, makes them look vulnerable and small. i like the drake/dragon.

Not the best fighter in the world, but when it comes to handling, the best fighter I've flown so far is the Kusari Drake. Really smooth, sharp handling.

Granted there is more of a noticable difference between the handling of the eagle and the sabre than between the sabre and the titan. They're all still buckets with guns

The profile issue is a good point tho. At first i thought the titan had a better profile cause front on it has a very low area to attack. But then people were saying that the core of the sabre offers less of a big single target versus the cockpit of the titan. To be honest its probably irrelevant anyway - i've not really noticed a significant difference in damage take while actually flying them. Has anyone?
