How do i get to Alaska???

I've finished SP Missions but i'm still playing in SP and i can't go past the mine field around the jumpgate to Alaska.
Is there another way?

1.) When u finish the SP ur in MP
2.) After the missions complete u cant go to alaska
3.) ...Why the hell would u want to go there anyway? Theres nothing there but a shipyard and a prision!
4.) You cant go to To***u Either

You have to finish the main campagne , then from new york theres a jumpwhole to alaska

Another way to go to Alaska is to be a very bad freelancer. I mean really bad. Kill some innocent people, blow up some planets and moon, bases, battleships, kill lots and lots of traders, loot their cargo and destroy those too...

and when everybody is red with you , let the authority take you in, and they'll throw you in prison cell in alaska to die..

I'm just joking...

..and I just wonder, where do I buy one of those?...

Isn't the jump gate locked after the SP mission.
I can't get to it either, and the same goes for that system in which you defeat that Japanese Ambassador

theres a third way to get there but it involoves hacking the gate by modding the ini files thats if you survive the mine filed the trust me you don't want to go there either to much Navy Partols after SP missons are finsihed and some nomad battleships in the farther reaches of that system
