The game can''t end like that!
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Can't speak for anyone but myself, but I'm enjoying my "post storyline" life! There was still a good deal of the Sirius system I hadn't seen and I probably still have about 30% unexplored territory, maybe more. I've spent a good deal of my post retirement life doing trades. Finally settled on diamonds from New Berlin to New Tokyo and back with Optical Chips. Lots of fights along the way! After amassing $3M, I finally got hacked enough at the Hessians to trade in my Humback for a Falcon and become a bounty hunter. Took me only three mission to get me in green with the Rheinlanders. Now I've graduated to a Hammerhead. I still have around $2.5M to burn before I have to trade for a living again. My goal is to find a profitable trade route that will allow me to circumnavigate the Sirius system. I'm now role playing the game as Trent and having far more fun than I was in the storyline!
They say that married men live longer. It just seems longer[!

Robber Baron- i cannot agree more, i seem to have 10x more fun in multiplayer (same as post-story) than i ever did doing the story missions. this is also one of the only games that ive played which keeps me interested even after ive gotten max lvl and the best stuff. theres exploring and i have fun just being an escort to new players.
During one of the cinematics Orillion says that the Nomads were _OPENLY_ attacking Bretonia but after that there is no meantion of it, even after during the end cinematic stating Trent and Juni get the Lonestar medal. Odd, I bet there was a different ending.
"It is said that revenge is a dish best served cold, it is very cold in space."
~Khan, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

I liked the ending...well, most of it.
The guy didn't get the girl, he didn't get paid, and didn't get fame. It was the exact opposite of all these other games endings, unpredictable, and probably what would happen in the real world. What *did* tick me off was the fact that I had full reputation with the Liberty Navy at the final mission, but I actually lost some reputation with all of liberty after mission 13 when all the reputations reset.
I didn't like how they resolved the Nomads though. *Pooom* Hyper-Vaccuum-Gate now operational. All baddies have been sucked into the unknown. Good game! You win!
..........What? That's how we beat them? ha. I wanted to see them fry, but that's for the expansion.

- I thought Trent would become famous. But no. Nobody knows him. The Liberty bartender reminded he had seen Trent's face on the news when he was just an anonymous from Freeport 7. Despite he saved the world, nobody in any space station tell him "hey, aren't you Trent ? I saw you on TV. May I have an autograph ?". No, they still say "Are you new here ?". Nobody knows him.
Heh, at least monkeys and robots know him! On planet Primus and planet Gammu know him.
"Hey. I know you. How you doing, Trent?"
"What's going on?"
"Nothing special. Maybe if you come back later."
yeah, i guess its called the border worlds, the right side of the map, the big green odd looking nebula thing. it makes it look like there are suppose to be a bunch more systems in there that we were supposed to discover but didn't. i think maybe it was that the nomads had another entrance to sirius out there and you were supposed to tear it up, with the help of the corsairs or outcasts. or maybe...eh i'll just stop.
What they should have done was have Juni hang out in the Manhattan bar. Whenever you show up, she should give you a hug and some info, like "Hey Trent, good to see you again." and then something like "I hear you're tight with the Corsairs now. I hope you're just scamming them long enough to get some good gear." or "You better watch yourself. I just heard a couple Bounty Hunters talking about the price on your head."
That would be totally awesome. It's really a pity they didn't add that, it's small things like these that make the game extra enjoyable. I'd almost say make a mod about it, but ofcourse there are no other voice actors around here that sound exactly like the 'real' Juni. Well, maybe in the expansion. We should make a wishlist of all the things we'd like in the XP, and then mail it to DA.
