Is it just me, or do the SP nomads seem easier to kill than the ones you find around the jump holes after the campaign?

Check out the ini files... the Unknown System Nomads are a hell of a lot more powerful than the SP ones.

Activate them by getting a mod surely

The rebalance mod gives all the VHFs upgrades 8 guns 1 turret i think.
Dunno about 3 torpedos tho....

the reason it is so cheap is because orillion was liberty navys top spy untill the nomad took him over so orillium went away taking state of art battleship and all its compliments with it(full set)without any1 noticing
in other words it fell of back of a lorry not that it will fit of course hehehe

The bummer is that you can't sell it off for it's true value later. Any merchant will only offer you something like 800 for the ship, which is an insult. I rather fly it into the sun than sell it for that price.

You should get a better price for it, I agree. However, I have since purchased an eagle. If there are indeed any mods out there that improve it I'd love to know. I spend so much money on repairing my Eagle, and replenishing its nanobots and shields I'm almost skint! It's difficult keeping in with the corsairs AND the bounty hunters at the same time. Not many profitable missions that satisfy both. I seem to run out of Anti Red Hessian missions on that planet/base I can never remember the name of. I always have trouble finding it as well. In Sigma 17 somewhere.


Anyway, enough of my yaking.

The Death's Hand MK II's are just like 120 apiece..

And the campaign Nomads surely are a lot weaker than the post-campaign/MP nomads.

The reason you get the Anubis is simple. If you spent all of the SP game in a fighter flying missions and upgrading your fighter and weapon sheilds. Its a good bet your going to be almost broke by the time you get to the "no pay just survivial missions" that make up the final third of the game. The Anubis is the way out of the tight cash squeeze. The second time I ran through the SP game I was in a freighter. A Dromadary as a matter of fact and Iwas just filthy rich, so I turned up my nose at the poor Mans fighter, and had no problems at all.

I had the Anubis, until the last level until I sell it and bought the Eagle at FP-9. Don't worry, the Anubis is still a good fighter, don't you reckon?
