pointers to secrets ?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

pointers to secrets ?

Hello averyone.
I have been lurking here a few weeks and just got my copy yesterday here in the UK.

I played the demo to death and one thing that is niggling me are the secret items.

I like to discover all there is to find in game but I dont really want to cheat to do so. I did use FL Datastorm on the demo but dont wish to do so on the full game. I know there are 3 secrets there but I never would have found them if I hadn't known they were there.

My question is this, does the main plot, side missions or any rumors that you may get give you any information about the whereabouts of these secrets ?

I dont want to run search patterns in every single likely looking spot just for the sake of it, it seems to me to be a little ant- roleplay to do so.

Having a fantastic time in the game so far, got a little hairy last night when I found myself in the middle of mission 3 flying a rhino and the game woudlnt let me fly to a suitable planet to get a Defender.

if by secrets you mean jumpholes and wrecks than yes, you can hear rumours about them and they are all true

but there are ALOT of those around so unless you feel like covering every square inch of the sector I suggest you go find an FAQ or a list

Dude, where's my Super Star Destroyer?

also if you poen you map and click on the "patrol route" option (looks kinda like a circle), you can follow the routes and find crap that way. but the cool s^!# is normaly in places you dont want to hang out for too long... places like high radiation areas are a good place too look...

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea of building a giant robotic parrot out of melted down coins was a bad idea, I would have one kick a$$ giant robotic parrot.

Yeah,if you like the exploring part of it, look around and find stuff until you think you've gone everywhere or are sick of doing so, and then find an FAQ to get the stuff you missed. Cuz there's a LOT of stuff to find, and it's pretty likely you missed some of it somewhere.
