By the way, in MP is it supposed to show our current worth and how much you need to level, cuz it doesn't show that for me.

If you're not concerned about attracting some heat, just jack some valuable commodities from the containers next to Newark Station after you launch from New York, and sell it at Fort Bush or Detroit (you won't be able to dock in the Manhattan area, everything there will be pretty sore at you until you dock somewhere else). Do this a few times. Not only do you get some quick cash, but you'll also get a neutral rep with the local pirate factions (losing a bit of your friendly status with some other factions in the process). A neutral rep with the pirates opens up some trade options in lucrative stuff, like cardamine, from the pirate bases; and it's also nice not to get hassled by the pirates (except when they try to jack your cargo.)
