It isn't for sale anywhere, I thought i had seen it for sale but it was the Neutralizer

As far as I can tell there's no Paralyzer launcher in the game. You can buy the ammo on various bases but I haven't seen the launcher anywhere. I've heard that it isn't even in the .ini files.

the Paralyzer is a anti-shield EMP weapon, nobody knows where to buy it from yet though

you're better off getting the Firestalker instead

Nope, can't be bought, can't be found... unless you do some modding. Why they let you find the ammo, and not the launcher, is a mystery. Maybe it was a little too powerful... it's a class-10 weapon, btw, only missile that is.

Ok - looking at this from a logical perspective - this launcher(Paralyzer) must drop in game somewhere. There must be a wreck out there that we just haven't found yet or is some sort of anomaly that has kept us from finding it to this point. It's just like the ripper mine when you go to any base - you can't buy the launcher, but the mines are for sale. I'm willing to bet it is out there someplace - we just have yet to find it. Has anyone completely and thoroughly explored every corner of the two unknown sectors? Or every corner of the known sectors for that matter. Can anyone truly say without a doubt that the launcher isn't hidden somewhere in the game? Can someone find out by hacking in and searching and making sure all wrecks are listed and accounted for?

I assume you mean the Ripper mine, because the Driller mine dropper is easy to find for sale. At any rate, yes, all the wrecks have been located from the star system .ini files, and none contain the Paralyzer launcher. I don't see why this is so hard to believe... c10 turret mounts on VHFs with no c10 turrets available, only positron c10 shields can be obtained although graviton and molecular models are defined in the equpiment data, etc. If you just gotta have one, it's an easy mod to do.

Yeah, why in the world didn't the dev's include the class 10 stuff for us? They made ships that could mount it, but don't let us get it without modding...Strange decision if you ask me.

its in one of the wrecks, or at least the missiles are, i find the EMP missiles extremely useless as my guns do a better job.. so i just sold all the paralyser missiles i come across. check out the jump hole to the unknown sector in omicron alpha. in F4 i think it was, well, the 'burial' site for all the outcasts. shoot everything to pieces and you should get quite a variety.

Did you read the subject of this thread? It's well-known that you can find the ammo on various wrecks... it's the launcher that's being discussed here.

I KNOW it's the launcher people are trying to find, which is why I posted it as a rumor, it MIGHT be the launchers but I'm not certain, so if somebody has been there before please confirm it for me.

I have looted those wrecks several times. They only yield the missiles, not a launcher. Maybe the source of this rumor stems from confusion between the Ripper mine dropper and the Paralyzer missile launcher, because the Ripper can only be obtained from those wrecks. If you find someone that has a Paralyzer launcher, they got it by way of a mod.

Does this mean its not in both MP and SP?
Because theres alot of ships and items that wont ever get used...
