nice... go a 1000k into a tunnel that you don't know how long.. that must have taken like... 1000000/300... = an hour ? an hour of cruising ? you keep me posted. i'd rather live my life blasting hessians.

likely an hour plus. I was reading the forums most of the time looking for a post on it. I am flying a titan with level 10 weaps and shield and have around a million credits. So boredom with killing hessians was setting in. I think I will go to sleep while my ship cruises on.

I went about up that tunnel for a couple hours, I was also watching a movie, but screen was visible during movie, but could have missed something, but I doubt it. I did not cruise back though, just kinda went back via load last save.

Well, during a boring day at home I flew the tunnel as far as i could go
but I had to finish after 2670K 'cause my wife came home and there was a potential of getting my head hammered...

As I said it was a boring day and I will not go again the same way to a never ending tunnel with the hole unreachable...

Tunnel itself is background, but objects will still get further away as you head out past the boundries of the system. There is a sun a ways up there you can get to and fly past. I did try marking a tunnel edge spot on the screen and seeing if it shifted as the flight progressed. Can't get closer to any edges either, so tunnel is visual. Just looking for any other objects. Also noted that once you passed the map boundry there were no more nomad spawns.

I flew to that star in MP. I managed to select it, so a simple F2 was enough to get there. (Watched a movie in the meantime
When I got close enough, I flew around but found nothing.
Instead of flying back I tried to crash into it but it didn't work.
The ship just bounces off. So I had to fly all the way back to the monkey-planet.

Hmmm, woke up to all these replies and my ship 10,000k up the tunnel. Ship seems to be trying to shake itself apart. I will have to agree, you can't get there from here. Wish I had some mines so I could suicide back to the robot planet:-P

I was really hoping there would be some type of easter egg up the tunnel. Like someplace to get a cloak for my ship.

yeah theres just a star that wont kill you up there. u can even bounce off it
