little hint/tip for drug runs

Dont know if this has been posted before, but its a first for me..

Everytime i tryed to do a drug run the coppers always scanned my ship so i always had to drop or fight..
On my last drug run try the coppers scanned my ship as i thought, so i just dumped me drugs before they even started scanning (when the was telling me the had to scann etc.) and the said me ship was clean??
Not wanting to hang about i grabed the drugs i just dumped and ran like hell

It seems that if you drop your cogo before they start scanning they dont seem to care to scan the cogo you dumped, so you can grab it after they said your clean.

Hope this liitle trick helps people who are magnets for coppers (like me)

Another tactic is to not acknowledge their hail or respond to the demand to drop cargo when you are near a gate or hole. Just leave the "drop/fight" screen open and head for the nearest exit. Most times you can get through before they realize you're running and then it's too late.

now try this one: buy artefacts from freeport9 and sell them in new berlin. there is a clandestin jump hole right near the planet, so before any cops scan your ship you have the time to jump in the docking ring.
