Are the Americans the only ones with those sweet Cannons?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Its kinda hard to tell, from some of the older threads I have read over they tell of the first movie/trailor for Freelancer that showed the nomads destroying SOL system. In the game intro movie it shows them fleeing from losing the war with the Coalition. With the almost practical death then resurrection of FL. seems the developers had to do some compromising. It also seems that between what older stuff was left in and newer stuff added, the overall storyline took a few hits. The intro movie does not fully jive with the official site background.

Either way, for myself, I liked the sp storyline , so far I have quite enjoyed the game itself and am looking forward to a sequil/add-on.

Don't take the intro stuff too seriously, in the end its just a game

Those forward guns on the Liberty battleships are just a light show for the local media. They are used to suck poor people (mainly black and hispanic) into signing up to join the Liberty navy. After two hours they are then fully trained to fly the most baddest ship in the entire universe....the Liberty Defender.

The other systems realise how pathetic Liberty really is and let them be just to fool them. Through hidden channels I have heard that this charade will only last a short while as the Liberty Navy are building a new stronger battleship. It
is the most powerful battleship in the history of the entire universe. It is to be called the Dubya. Although it will still have it's media friendly forward guns, the guns from the arse end are really, really powerful.....
