the best way to defeat nomads does anyone know it

i have a sabre highest shield
i found the 2 prometheus level 10 guns in the malta system
and i got 1 nomad gun
the remainder are dissolvers
(got sunslayer too)
what is the best way to kill nomads and to get there guns

+where can you fiend a level 10 turret

dont use misiles or torps and try to miss their weapons

i am only atacking the people who want to kill me....

Fast firing lv 8 or 9 cannons is how I got my load of Nomad cannons. I had 2 lvl 10's in my Sabre already but disabled them when I went after the Nomads. You need fast fire so you dont want a power hungry lvl 10 firing. Especially when 3 shots from a nomad can reduce a lvl 10 shield to nothing, hen just 2 shots for your hull

I got luckly and had 2 waves of 8 ships in each, the first wave each ship droped a blaster or cannon, the second only 3 did but left me with a nice set of weapons

If you intend to actively hunt Nomads, I suggest that you get, as others have said, powerful fast-firing guns. I also suggest that you exchange any guns/turrets you have with high *shield* damage for ones with high *hull* damage: the Nomads don't have shields.

It's better to burn out than to fade away
