can you get the nomad weapons in SP after your through with SP campaign?

don't go venturing into nomad space right after the SP campaign is over, though; unless you have a very nice ship (eagle, titan, or sabre are the only ships with which you can hope to survive a Nomad encounter) the Nomads will turn you into fried space junk.

speaking of the nomad land, i went there and it seemed pretty worthless to me, but i didnt explore too much, the nomads were killer so i kinda took off. whats in there?
