Best Method to Become friendly with Corsairs

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Best Method to Become friendly with Corsairs

Whats the best method discussed in the forums to become friendly with the Corsairs, or any other border world faction. Corsairs is a little bit more difficult to becom friendly with because the stations that house their bribes are in territory where they ass-ram ya right as ya enter it :/
As always any help appreciated thanks

They aren't fond of house militaries, so I popped quite a few bretonian plolice until I got them kinda neutral, then did some missions against the Red Hessians (which they also hate). Once I could land on Cadiz, I bribed my way in.

"I don't want the world, I just want your half" - Something painted on a bridge, which I saw while driving once.

Hit Freeport 9 I think. Dock and land until you get the Corsair guy in the bar. Bribe them. Go to Planet crete and do the 100k+ bounty hunter killer missions. till way green. Go to I think Tripoli mining station or one of the other types of bases in that area and dock and land until hessians come up in bar. Bribe them. Then go do the same on the "top" of the universe to get the Outcasts (Freeport bases). Once you have all those 3 in the green, the Bounty hunters will hate you. Now just go find a spot to bribe them. I am COMPLETELY green with almost all criminal factions and the bounty hunters. Course everyone else calls me a pirate, so.....

Try to kill some mollys, red hessian, outcast (i think) and they will become neutral with you after that go at cadiz or other corsairs base and bribe them and you will become friend with them (after that you can make some mission at 100k for them they will love you a lot but d'ont make some mission against bounty hunter because they are everywhere (try to make some mission at leon or cadiz base against red hessian and you will become friend with bounty hunter guild too) you will become friend with too mortals ennemy mwahahahahaha ))

The way I got neutral with the Corsairs (and every other faction for that matter) is by slaughtering the Xenos at their Ouary base in Colorado. Now the only people that hate me are the Xenos and I am full green with the Outcasts, Lane Hackers, and Liberty Navy. Only a matter of time before everyone else is friendly instead of just neutral :\

I was friendly with the corsairs and outcasts for soem reason right out of SP, dunno why, but its funny to see them lane hack and be freindly toward you.

What's the story on bribing anyway? I was at a corsair base and the $ symbol was a bribe, but not for the corsairs. It was to make me friendly with someone else. Do you have to keep going back to the bar until you get a $ for corsairs?

Just go out the base and re-enter the base the person having a $ can bribe other person...

If you're strapped for cash and have a decent enough ship to do this, here's what I did: Go to New Berlin or Frankfurt and take any mission that has you killing Hessians. Sure, the Corsairs don't like house police or military...but if you kill 12 or so hessians while you're at it the net result is an increase in your rep (w/ corsairs and house police/military). Add to that the fact that you're getting paid to increase your rep and it's a pretty sweet deal (take any job that pays more than 30k for it to be really worthwhile, though). Cheers.

Shoot up some Bounty Hunter Cargo Depots, found by the Bounty Hunter Bases. Suddenly the hole universe kinda not hate you ...

The way i found to get friendly with just about everyone is kill lots and lots of xenos, and if you kill bounty Hunters to the point whee there almost hostile to you that works just my thoughts

Shooting Police, Bounty Hunters and especially the DSE facility in Hokkaido are quick & dirty ways to improve reps with ALL pirate factions.

A word of caution: Don't go overboard. The police and bounty hunters are almost everywhere. Shooting DSE sounds harmless enuff, but I learnt the lesson well.

Shoot DSE and the negative effects include:
Their allies - Liberty Police, Liberty Navy, Liberty Security Force, Liberty Corporations
Their competitors - Daumann Heavy Construction, Samura Heavy Industries, Bretonia Mining & Manufacturing

It seems that once their competitors get the word, they tip off their friends in high places.

Allies of Daumann Heavy Construction - Rheinland Police, Rheinland Military, Republican Shipping
Allies of Samura Heavy Industries - Kusari Police, Kusari Naval Forces
Allies of Bretonia Mining & Manufacturing - Border World Exports, Bretonia Police, Bretonia Armed Forces, Planetform

I was once overwhelmed by Kusari Police & Naval Forces after a "routine" rep fixing mission in Hokkaido. I fondly call that last mission "End Game".

Juz be aware of the butterfly effect.
