What would you load a lvl 10 ship with?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

What would you load a lvl 10 ship with?

Ok what do you all think is the best weapon config for your titan/sabre ship??
What shields, counter measures, guns etc would you use?

um.. good stuff? well, i'm planning to get a titan first,then an eagle, then a sabre, considering other remarks, i think sabre might be best, but that is, so i won't burn too much cash in the process, i'll start buying after 14 weeks of solid trading, to get my billion bucks.

presently, my world is upside down, so if u do not mind, u'll have to tok to my a$$

2 Wyrm II's, the rest Nomad Cannons. Advance Brigantine Shield. That's really all you need on a 10 ship, anything else is just gravy.

I always seem to end up with 4Xnomad weapons (blasters/cannons)
2xcl9 Salmanka Guns w/cl9 Salmanka turret.
Hornet/wasp cd
advanced 90% countermeasures
Ripper mines
cl10 positron shields

I just hate seeing my power bar go down. All 3 of my vhf characters have pretty much the same loadout, only diff with the cl9 weapons is how they were obtained. My rogue bought them, my Lawful salvaged them, hehe

I have 2 Nomad Blasters, 2 Nomad Cannons, Cannonball missiles, Firestalker missles, and a sunslayer torpedo launcher. I believe in the best

1x tezona del cid
1x Skyblast B
2x Nomad Blasters. Plus some sunslayers, mines, ect.
and 2x WILD FIRE canon. I've tried many other configurations (including all nomad weaps with the 2 lvl 9s) but found that this combination is a very well balanced mix of firepower and efficiency. As for the shield, I believe there is only one lvl. ten shield available, so use it.

Once I can put it all together, I always use:

2x Salamanca Mk II (or 2x Tizona del Cid)
4x Nomad Blasters (or 4x Wild Fire if I feel like going non-Nomad)
Salamanca Turret
Hornet Cruise Disruptor
Ripper Mine (very expensive ammo, use wisely)

Adv. Brigandine Shield
Adv. Thruster
Adv. Countermeasures

In the SP game, it's likely you'll already have the best thruster and c/m dropper after completing the story... no reason not to. In a PvP multiplayer game, I swap the Salamanca guns for Tizona del Cid guns (shield shredders). I like the combo of Salamanca (or Tizona) with Nomad Blasters for matched projectile speed and refire rate... although the matched refire rate is mostly an aesthetic preference. I gave up on using missiles... maybe I just don't understand the right way to use them, but they were mostly just money down the drain for me. Same with torpedoes, although I did use starkillers to help take out shield generators in the SP game as quickly as possible, but I abandoned them afterward.

look around for it The wild fire was the first lvl ten weap I found, and turned out to be (IMHO) the best (other than nomad weaps). Look for wrecks in the Omicron, Sigma, omega and Tau systems; they tend to have the best wrecks.

My Eagle has 4 "wreck-weapons" (blue wail and thors hammer I think). The rest is salamanca. I'm not really happy with it - I'd like something with a bit higher fire rate. I fought 3-4 waves of nomads by the monkey-planet before narrowly escaping with my life - no guns obtained (I'm level 35 atm).

I used a Titan for a long time, but I got to where I could handle 5-6 waves of Nomads in the unknown systems before having to leave to replenish bots & bats. Then I switched to an Eagle, and the Nomads became so much easier. Using your thruster in pulses and chasing them with erratic weaving (the Eagle excels at this) really throws off the aim of the ones you aren't locked onto. One time that I counted, I went through 36 waves of Nomads, got 10 guns, and used 14 batteries, no bots required (except for the rad damage getting to/from the unknown system). Yes, I was bored that day.

Heh, once you know basically where the wrecks are with the good stuff, it's fun to do a "surgical strike" into hostile areas to get in, grab the stuff, and get the heck out, before you're really "ready" for those kinda places.

The nomad cannons are 3.03 refire not 4
