datastorm map

how do u read the coordinates in the datastorm map? im trying to get all the red X's, soz but i just dont know-they look funni (c.09/3.35)¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?
wat i usually do is open both and compair the two, but on some systems, the red X never shows up even tho its on the datastrom map.

before you posted i didnt bother about these coords, but now i took a closer look.

i looked at los angeles and it says C.35/45.9

C.35 means that it is in sector C + 35 units to sector D
45.9 means that it is in sector 4 + 59 units to sector 5.

so overall that means that the planet is in sector C4, a bit to the right and about in the middle of sector 4 and 5.

ah, goto http://101st.info/DS/ and download the newest version, there it is clearer (X=D.3 / Y=4.1)

Well, they X is definately there since FL Datastorm parses the actual Freelancer maps stored in your game directory. Remember though, your scanner only goes out to about 3 squares from ship when your zoomed in on a map, plus any anomalies in the current system may cause your ships scanners to have a shorter range.
