Jump holes register when?
Hey all,
Just noticed something curious and I thought I'd ask to see if anyone knew how it worked. Okay, so I'm playing the single player game (50 hours in, explored several systems, but only just getting to mission 5 in the story). Anyway...I comb all asteroid fields/nebulas looking for jump holes and wrecked ships. I've found a lot of jump holes, BUT, when I look in my information screen where it lists in-game hours, bases visited, etc., it only displays that I found 4. Sooo...my thoughts are it's one of the following:
1. Jump holes only register if you actually use them once. (Many times I find them but don't use them since I'm just trying to find everything in that system).
2. Jump holes only register if you find all the aperatures of them. In other words, you'd have to find, say, all the jump holes leading to the New York system for it to register.
Anybody have any idea which it is (or how it does this if it's neither of the above)? No bigee - just curious.
Thanks!
